Born in “Almost Heaven” West Virginia, I graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. The same inquisitive nature that led me to study engineering also led me to discover what has become my passion, ART!
I began my artistic journey after retiring from a technical career. I have studied watercolor under local and international professional artists and continue to explore new mediums and techniques at every opportunity. I specialize in watercolor, alcohol ink and enjoy creating 3-D “Steampunk” art made from unique flea market and antique store finds.
I am a member of The Color and Light Society of Southern Maryland and the CalvART Gallery in Prince Frederick, Maryland. My work can be seen at CalvART and throughout Southern Maryland. I am a regular participant in Artsfest at Ann Marie Garden, the Sotterly Plantation Wine Festival, the Leonardtown ArtWalk and other local venues.
